Austin English graduated from
Oklahoma State's Horseshoeing School in 2003 and apprenticed with
Shawn Colhan for six months before taking a position with Mike
Foreman as his assistant. He has worked with Mike since then,
specializing in all lameness issues with performance horses in close
association with the Elgin Veterinary Clinic. He has worked with
Oakhaven for over three years with great success. As an experienced
horse-owner himself, Austin is sensitive to each horse's individual
needs and he has been wonderfully patient when working with our
young horses and foals, ensuring they always have good experiences.
